Does Aktual give strategic advice for my trade show participation?

Yes, if you’re looking for a strategic sparring partner during the development of your trade show campaign, we’re more than happy to help you! Together we look for the unique features that will give your booth the stopping power that’s needed: a theme, a game, the right experience, smells, sounds, etc. We also work with you on the options for registering leads at your booth. If necessary, we provide the hardware required and advise you on possible software.

Can Aktual translate our corporate identity into an exhibition stand?

Of course. You provide us with your brand book and the interior architects of our design studio will get to work on it. They translate any corporate identity into a strong concept with the right balance and nuances.

What does Aktual do to set my stand apart from others?

Everything starts with a striking design in terms of colour, smell, lighting, graphics or other materials. Using nudging techniques, we create a kind of attraction to your stand. Nudging means using subtle influence to encourage visitors to stop by your stand or step inside. If you’ve got the budget, our design studio can go totally wild and include a physical and digital experience in the project. For example, an LED wall, a display, virtual reality, catering, gamification or anything that helps you stand out and get the most out of your participation.

Will Aktual design my customised stand?

Yes, that’s what we do! But customisation is a broad term. You may want a budget stand with standard elements that can be personalised entirely according to your corporate identity. But you can also go totally wild with a prestigious exhibition stand that is custom designed down to the last detail. The sky’s the limit! Our design studio and technical teams are strong in unique concepts and customisation. From the simplest to the most complex ideas… We understand your needs, develop them into creative designs and ensure a professional result.

When can I expect a design and quotation from Aktual?

Within a maximum of three weeks after our first meeting, we will present our design and mood board to you. You’ll then immediately receive a detailed price quotation.

Can Aktual act as a full-service partner for my trade show participation?

Yes, that’s precisely what we’re good at and what sets us apart from other stand builders. You can count on us from A to Z: We give you strategic advice on your participation in the fair, take care of the design of your stand, draw up the budget and take care of all administration. Of course, we also handle the transport of all elements to the trade fair location, coordination and construction on site and installation of the furniture and fixtures. We can even provide extra services, such as catering at your exhibition stand. After the trade fair we carefully dismantle your stand. If you wish, we can (free of charge) store certain elements for your company so that you can use them again later. In short, we take care of everything. Seriously, everything.

Which systems does Aktual work with?

We work with both wood and aluminium systems and sometimes we combine the best of both worlds in a hybrid solution, i.e. an exhibition stand that consists of a combination of wood and aluminium. The choice of material always depends on the nature of the project, the design, the possible construction time or other needs and requirements.

How modular/circular are the Aktual exhibition stands?

“We customise standard solutions” is a phrase we often use during the design process. By this we mean that we create a unique design for each project and at the same time ask ourselves where we can make use of modular systems (partially or completely) during production. Following a circular principle, we will then use rental items for your exhibition stand and fully personalise them. Did you need customised elements after all? Then we can store them for you free of charge for later re-use! For example, a prestigious branding wall from your exhibition stand that later gets a second life in your entrance hall.

How much time do I have to fill in my booth?

We work to your deadline. In other words, together with you we determine the ideal time of delivery. Aktual has over 35 years’ experience and is a well-oiled machine. So, your exhibition stand will be delivered on time, you count on it.

Who is my contact at Aktual?

Your account manager will be able to answer all your questions. He or she is your SPOC (single person of contact) from the first meeting, through the design phase, the production phase, during the trade fair participation, up to and including the delivery.

How much time do I have to fill in my booth?

Can you store my exhibition stand for later re-use?

Yes, we even offer this service to our customers free of charge. Typically, an exhibition stand consists of a combination of custom and rental equipment, as well as personalised material to cover the rental equipment. If you wish, we can store the customised elements after the trade fair. You can then reuse it later on for another trade fair or in your company building.

Do you also build exhibition stands abroad?

Yes, we work anywhere in the world. International exhibitions and logistics challenges are what our teams and partners really enjoy. We know the trade fair organisers and are familiar with local restrictions and regulations in many countries.

Does Aktual support me with all the administration that’s involved in my participation?

Yes of course! We handle everything for you. As soon as you’ve registered for the fair and engaged us as a partner, we’ll follow up on everything! A lot has to be arranged: water and electricity connections, suspension points, technical inspection certificates, etc. We arrange all of this for you. You only need to provide us with the login details for the exhibition platform and we’ll place all orders relating to your exhibition stand ourselves.

Is Aktual an experienced partner?

Yes, most definitely! For more than 35 years and two generations we have designed and built trade fair stands, decor and interiors. We have an enthusiastic team of more than 30 permanent employees and 80 freelancers: interior designers, account managers, site managers, carpenters, painters, electricians, warehouse staff and administrative staff, etc. They’ll guide you through the entire process. Moreover, we have a very extensive network of loyal suppliers and partners, not only in Belgium but also worldwide.
